At Pujaa Shree Green Power, we believe it is our duty to care for our planet. Mother Earth has been generous to humankind and it is time we return the favour. As a species, we are slowly but surely understanding our impact on the planet and adopting ways to reduce it. One such way is by harnessing wind energy. Over the years, wind energy has become the backbone of the sustainable energy system. Its adoption across the globe has been a step in the right direction and our aim is to contribute to the efforts.

Pujaa Shree Green Power was established in 2009 with a long term vision to do our bit to fight global warming by adding to the renewable energy capacity. Our promoters are invested in making our planet a better place for future generations. Till date, the company has acquired 4 wind turbines and aims to keep growing at a steady pace to meet the every growing need of sustainable and renewable power.

Why wind energy?

India currently has the 4th highest wind installed capacity in the world with a total installed capacity of over 39 GW (as on 31st March 2021). This just goes to show the positive and consistent progress the wind energy sector has witnessed over the years. A lot of this can be attributed to the Government’s fiscal and financial incentives because it has realised the potential of wind energy. Apart from the obvious fact that wind energy is good for the planet, here are a few more advantages that have propelled the wind energy sector.

The operating cost of Wind Turbine Generators (WTG) is low. The initial cost is the only major expenditure.

WTGs have a lifespan close to 20 years, so the benefits of investing in them can be reaped for nearly two decades.

The power generated through a windmill can be sold at a fixed rate, making it a permanent source of income.

The maintenance and operations is taken care by the supplier, so there are no hassles involved.
